Formed in early 1989 by Tony Kostrzewa, the former boss of Red Rhino Distribution, after that company went into receivership in late 1988. It was owned by Belgian record company and distributor, Play It Again Sam (Pias).
In 1993 it merged with the Bristol based Revolver to become Revolver/APT before becoming part of Vital Distribution Ltd in 1994.
