Larrikin Records (also shown as Larrikin) was a label established by Warren Fahey in late 1974, operating out of his Folkways Music store in the Sydney suburb of Paddington. Larrikin Records released hundreds of original Australian recordings across a range of genres, including folk, jazz, blues, Aboriginal, country, children's, and cabaret. A number of international artists were also released under licence on the Larrikin Records label. The label moved to Newtown in Sydney's inner west in the late 80s. The parent company, then called Larrikin Entertainment Pty Ltd. was sold to Festival Records Pty. Ltd. in 1995. Festival's assets were sold to WEA in 2005.
