Mort Goode

American songwriter, producer and entertainer.

Goode was a graduate of Syracuse University and began his career in the entertainment field by working in the publicity departments of Columbia Pictures and RKO Pictures.
He collaborated with the late Jay Burton on several comedy pilots, and also wrote the liner notes to many albums. In 1976 he received a Grammy nomination for his work on The Complete Tommy Dorsey, Volume 1.
