Best known as the lyricist for the musical [i]Jean Seberg[/i], collaborating with composer . He began his career in New York City writing and directing off-Broadway productions. He collaborated again later with Hamlisch for Shirley MacLaine's revue [i]Shirley MacLaine on Broadway[/i].
