American session singer and arranger.

Brooks Hunnicutt is a powerful alto singer who grew up in Atlanta. She worked as a singer in Los Angeles for quite a while and sang professionally both in the studio, on tour with such artists as rocker Rod Stewart, Stephen Stills, country singer Kenny Rogers and blues singer Bobby Womack, and in her own bands. Brooks toured with many artists and played sites such as Las Vegas and Tahoe, as well as participating in many concerts around the world from London to Australia and Hon Kong. She sang in a Royal Command Performance for Queen Elizabeth, performed as a duo with Stephen Stills for over 80,000 people in Central Park, and did many television appearances on shows from Johnny Carson to Soul Train. Brooks developed her unique blues style when singing in a black church in Watts for 9 years. She is a powerful, dynamic, passionate singer.
