Real Name: Richard West

English DJ, producer and songwriter, born 2 January 1965, Mile End, London. Founder of Superfreq Records, Plink Plonk and End Recordings. He is best known as the frontman and vocalist for The Shamen. Co-owner of the End Recordings nightclub.

He started MC’ing in London clubs, aged 16, and soon earned a reputation as rapper. In the late 1980s he became resident rapper at the Camden Palace, before becoming a MC at Kiss fm. In 1987, he collaborated with Eddie Richards as part of Myster E. This inspired his move to DJ'ing. As frontman, songwriter and producer of The Shamen, he notched-up a string of top-10 hits.
In 1995 he opened the End Recordings nightclub together with Layo Paskin. Three years later he opened the AKA Bar. Both closed down in January 2009. In the 2000s, he pioneered Techno House together with Terry Francis and Eddie Richards. Throughout his career he continued to organise, promote and played at various festivals around the world.
