Astrud Gilberto

Brazilian singer born March 30, 1940, in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil and died June 5, 2023 in Philadelphia, USA.
She became famous in the early 1960s through a recording of the Bossa Nova hit "The Girl from Ipanema", performing alongside [a=Stan Getz] and [a=João Gilberto] (whom she was married to at that time).
