Wolfgang Kos

Austrian journalist, historican, musician, author and museum's director
He was born May 12, 1949 in Mödling.
He started to work for 's in 1967 and was part of the alternative radio show "", which he led and directed from 1980 onwards. In 1982 he released a couple of records as part of the New Wave duo together with , with whom he also organized a series of avantgarde concerts from 1983 to 1991 , being called " Töne und Gegentöne". After concepting a new program for called "Diagonal – Radio für Zeitgenossen", he switched channels and was now working for Ö1, where he also invented a new program called "Spielräume" in the 1990s, which is still broadcasted today. From 2003 to 2015, he served as director of the Wien Museum.
