Chris Parry

Real Name: John Christopher Parry

New Zealand musician, producer and label owner. From Upper Hutt near Wellington he drummed with 1960s New Zealand pop stars [a=Fourmyula] and went to the UK with the band in 1969. By 1976 he was an A&R manager at Polydor, signing The Jam and Siouxsie and The Banshees. He then created his own label [l=Fiction Records] and signed The Cure, whom he managed for some years. Parry sold Fiction to Universal in 2001.
