The Howard Morrison Quartet

Hugely successful Maori group from Rotorua. Active from 1956, when they formed as The Ohinemutu Quartet, until 1964, they sold countless records many of which were recorded in concerts.

Both [a=Howard Morrison] and [a=Gerry Merito] had strong solo careers after they split.

The reformed for a one off show in 1975 and sporadically thereafter until Howard Morrison passed away in 2009.
