Yusuke Hoguchi

Real Name: Yusuke Hoguchi = 穂口 雄右

Japanese studio musician (keyboards) and songwriter. Born January 24, 1948 in Tokyo. Married to the singer and lyricist [a=Hiromi Kanda].
Wrote several hit songs for [a=Candies (2)].

During his amateur days, he formed the band "テディーボーイズ" with and , and played guitar.
At the age of 16, he went to a performance at the Nippon Theater where was performing, and during the intermission, saw him play "モーニン", which he had just learned, on the piano. He was invited by Johnny Kitagawa to join Johnny's Junior.

He joined Watanabe Productions and in June 1966 formed the GS band "" with (later known as ) and (later known as , former vice president of Amuse). He began his professional musical career as an organist and keyboardist. In the fall of 1967, he left "" and joined "津々美 洋とオール・スターズ・ワゴン" midway through the band's run.

In 1972, at the age of 24, he took a break from his work as a studio musician to begin preparation as a composer/arranger.
