Producer, musician and DJ from London, now based in the West Midlands.
Son of Paul Chue and brother of Leon Chue and Simon Chue aka S. Chu.
Wookie began his production career at Jazzie B's Soul II Soul Studios in the mid-1990s.
Switched from R&B to UK garage in the late 1990s when school friend Johnny J (2) brought him a Whitney Houston accappella (127384).
Diversified into house music in the early 2000s with 1576333, inspired by Karizma productions.
Runs Manchu Recordings and Lovestar Music.
The Wookie alias is taken from his surname's similarity to Chewbacca from the Star Wars franchise.
