Real Name: Joseph Arthur Greene

US songwriter and soprano session singer / backing vocalist active in the 70's. Later moved to performing gospel. Often associated with Billy Preston and later Patrick Moten. Credited for backing vocals on George Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh & The Rolling Stones' album "Exile on Main Street". Born September 29, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA.
Do not confuse with the jazz / big band composer, producer Joe Greene (2) (Billy Preston recorded his song "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Cryin'").
