The Green Hornet

The Green Hornet Radio Series was an old time radio crime drama that aired between January 31, 1936 and December 5, 1952. It featured a newspaper publisher, Britt Reid, who secretly fought crime as a vigilante known as, The Green Hornet. Law enforcement did not recognize him as a hero but as a criminal. His reliable accomplice was his valet, Kato. Many of the early episodes were never recorded but only performed live over the airwaves. Britt Reid was also the great grandnephew of another hero, The Lone Ranger.
