King Edwards

King Edwards "The Giant" after his sound system saw his ska productions, involving the island's top session musicians, appear in the UK on [l=Rio (2)] and in Jamaica on his labels [l=King Edwards] and later [l=Giant (3)].
Two brothers, Vincent and George, ran the sound system. Artists such as Roy Panton and Ron Wilson report that George, who was shorter and stouter, was known as King Edwards and was more involved with the artists and the music than Vincent.
