Kaientai. Folk group from Fukuoka, Japan formed in 1972.
The name is a reference to the marine and naval organisation founded by Sakamoto Ryoma in 1865-1868, which is sometimes regarded as the first independent company in modern Japan. Takeda Tetsuya was said to be an admirer of Sakamoto and hence named the folk group this way.
