Eleanor Broadwater

American songwriter.
Wife of notable Nashville disc jockey , she was suspiciously granted a third of the songwriting credit for "Susie Q" (1957) and possibly earlier "See You Soon Baboon" (1955) as a thank-you to Nobles for promoting the songs on his station, a common form of payola at the time.
Hard to know if this was the case with the rest of her songwriting credits--all between 1955-58 including: "I Am The Lover Man" and "29 Ways" by Willie Dixon (1955); "When You're Alone" by the Daps (1956) and The Hilltoppers (1955); Baker Knight And The Knightmares "Bring My Cadillac Back" (1957); and "Wild Wild World" by Dale Hawkins (1958).
