Clive Bailey
Real Name: Clive Bayley
Clive Bayley was the original lead singer and guitarist in the English psychedelic group Mabel Greer's Toyshop. The group went on to change there name to Yes, just a few days after he left in late July 1968. Two Mabel Greer's Toyshop songs appeared on the first Yes album in 1969: "Beyond And Before" and "Sweetness". Clive is credited as a songwriter on both of these, however his surname was incorrectly spelt: "Bailey". This confusion was only cleared up in 2013 when he returned to the music business, following a 45 year break, to re-form Mabel Greer's Toyshop with co-founding member Robert Hagger.
