Linda Carriere

Linda Carriere, born in London, was a member of the British soul group Loose Ends, during the "Look How Long" album and sang lead vocals on their final UK Top20 single "Don't Be a Fool".

In 1992 Carriere started a solo career and moved to Germany. She was the opening act for an Elton John concert in Aschaffenburg, performing for 50,000 people. She wrote songs for Randy Crawford and opened shows for The Fugees, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Celine Dion and toured with "The Soul of MTV" together with Bilal and City High. In 2002 Carriere released the album "She said..." and participated in the Eurovision Song Contest selections in Germany with the song "Higher Ground".

Loose Ends has been reactived in recent years, including Carriere in the line-up.
