The Lox

American hip hop trio from Yonkers, New York City. Composed of [a=Jadakiss], [a=Styles P] and [a=Sheek Louch]. Beginning circa 1994 as , they renamed themselves to 'The Warlox'. When they signed with , he convinced them to shorten their name to 'The Lox' as they were "no longer at war". They also often capitalized their name as 'The LOX' to show it stood for "[b]L[/b]iving [b]O[/b]ff [b]X[/b]perience". Once they got out of and into /, they started to refer themselves often as simply 'LOX' to drive home the acronym.
