Scott Stratton

US musician and mastering / lacquer cutting engineer.
Started working at Bernie Grundman Mastering in July 2000 as tape librarian and began cutting as Brian Gardner's understudy in 2004.
His lacquer cuts between 2004 and 2019 was "SS", often in combination with `!´ or "!" (not to be confused with the scribe by Scott Sedillo).
Since 2020, he scribes "-SS-" (please use ANV SS only) and very recently started to use "Stratty".

Besides cutting, he also works as Proofing Engineer and Operations Manager at BGM.

Scott also played lead guitar and co-wrote the songs on the Simply They album and plays with a new metal band called "Perilizer".
He also releases music under his moniker "Sigmund Fried".
