Real Name: Hugh Jones
Hugh Jones (born in London, England) is an English record producer and sound engineer, affiliated with R.G. Jones Studios.
Jones started his career as an apprentice engineer at the I.B.C. Studios, London, in the early 1970's. His first work was Chick Corea's legendary "41925" album in October 1972. In 1978, he moved to Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire, Wales. In 1985 he moved to Los Angeles, but returned soon to Rockfield Studios. Jones has worked with Echo & The Bunnymen, Modern English, Del Amitri, The Staff (2) and Bauhaus among others.
