WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln

German classical symphony orchestra, part of the public broadcaster WDR (), based at the .
The orchestra was inaugurated in 1947 under the auspices of the regional broadcaster Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk (NWDR). Later named and from the 1990s as "WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln".
