Real Name: David Leonard Miller

American arranger, labels owner, A&R producer, record manufacturer and distributor.
Born: July 4, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Died: May 24, 1985 in London, England.
Son of Albert Miller, founder of Palda Record Co., he took over his father's company with his brother Paul in 1952, with which he produced and distributed the releases of his label Essex Records.
Founder of budget labels like Somerset and Neuropa Records which were originally operated by his regional companies Miller International Company (based in Media, PA, 1957) and Miller International Schallplatten GmbH (based in Quickborn, Germany, 1961). In 1970 founded the UK based label Damont/Stereo Gold Award with Monty Presky, often crediting itself as Leo Muller on the label releases.
As an arranger, he is often associated with Al Sherman, whom he is often credited with arranging classic songs (often using pseudonym David Kleiber), including on many 101 Strings releases.
