American Jazz Bass player. Stage name was Teddy Stevens.

Father of actress/singer Connie Stevens and drummer Chuck Stevens Ingolia.
He studied bass with Pietro Lamantia of the New York Opera. Before joining the trio he had played with many of the top name bands throughout the country including Bob Chester, Sammy Kaye, Terry Gibbs, and Kai Winding.
