The Cool Notes

A British seven piece band hailing from Brixton, London, who began as a reggae outfit and later switched to soul/funk.
In the former genre, they gained acceptance with [i][r=5575953][/i], a 1978 reggae No. 1 on the specialist charts. They cracked the UK pop charts for the first time in 1984, reaching No. 42 with [i][r=342151][/i], their second soul single.
