David Braithwaite
An American recording engineer, producer, and record label executive.
During the mid-to-late 1960s, he served as the national sales and promotion executive at Harlem, New York's [l=Rojac Records] while also working as a producer. In 1969, he joined [a=Ray Charles]' [l=Tangerine Records] as both its A&R director and chief engineer, mainly at [l=RPM / Tangerine Studios], until around 1973. During his career, Braithwaite held similar positions at the [l=Atlantic Recording Corporation] as well as the [l=Motown Record Corporation] and had also worked at the WLIP Radio station.
