Joe Egan
Real Name: Joseph Egan
Scottish singer, keyboardist, guitarist, and songwriter, born 18 October 1946, Paisley, Scotland – died 6 July 2024.
Active as a session musician since the late 1960s, he founded Stealers Wheel together with Gerry Rafferty in 1972. Egan embarked on a solo career after that band disbanded in 1975, and left the music industry in the early 1980s.
