Vicki Sue Robinson

American singer, theatre and film actress, closely associated with the disco era. She is most famous for her 1976 hit Turn The Beat Around.

Died on April 27, 2000 in Wilton, Connecticut (USA).
She was the daughter of African-American Shakespearean actor, Bill Robinson, and the Caucasian folk singer, Jolly Robinson. She was part black, white and native American. She was only 45 years old when she passed after a struggle with cancer.
