Douglas McCombs
Real Name: Douglas McCombs
Bassist and guitarist from Chicago (IL, USA). In 1982 he joined Eleventh Dream Day which is still active today. Together with John Herndon, he founded Tortoise in 1988, then called Mosquito. In 1995 he worked for a period with The For Carnation and since 1997 has been a member of Tommy Pederson. In 1999 he started Brokeback Riders - initially as a solo project and later a more stable four-piece format.
