NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester

German radio orchestra based in Hamburg and affiliated to the public broadcaster (NDR).

It was founded as the (affiliated to ) in 1945 and renamed to in 1955/56. Since April 2016 the orchestra is residing at the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg under its current name.
