Australian singer, songwriter and musician (b.1958), based in Melbourne, active since the 1970s.

Although best known as a country artist, Leslie Avril's versatility has included Broadway and French love songs, Cajun, Blues, Jazz, 50s Classics & Rockabilly - which all feature on her 5 released albums. Leslie Avril has performed extensively throughout Australia, Europe, Scandinavia, the Pacific, Asia & North America. Having played with the cream of Melbourne players, she has also guested with & supported most major acts in Australia along with sharing the stage with many legendary musicians in the USA.
