Johannes Volk

Johannes Volk, known for his releases on Axis, Sistrum or his own label Exploration, producing conceptual techno music. At heart he is a vinyl collector, his dj sets combine an open minded, raw and hypnotic techno sound. At the Age of 14 he came in contact with Detroit Techno, from this time he began to explore the roots of electronic dance music and started deejaying.
After a few years he began producing his own music. His first record was released on Jeff Mills's Axis Records in 2006, followed by a series of vinyl releases on other labels. In 2011 Johannes started his own record label Exploration, dedicated to conceptual Techno and Science Fiction music!
