Born 13th October 1926 in Grangemouth, Stirling, Scotland
Died 13th October 2013 (aged 87) in Spain.
Husband of singer Barbara Jay and father of pianist Sean Whittle.
Tommy worked with Ronnie Scott, Ted Heath (1947-52), Kenny Wheeler, Joe Temperley, Johnny Claes, Lew Stone, Harry Hayes, Carl Barriteau, Jack Parnell and others. Led The Pizza Express All-Stars.
