Reginald Connelly
Real Name: Reginald John Connelly
British songwriter and music publisher, born 22 October 1895, died 23 September 1963.
Mainly active during the 1920s and 1930s.
Connelly formed a publishing and songwriting team with fellow Brit [a=James Campbell] (aka Jimmy Campbell), the duo known as [b]Irving King[/b]. They also collaborated with other songwriters.
Among their best known compositions are [i]If I Had You[/i] (1928), [i]Goodnight, Sweetheart[/i] (1931), [i]Try A Little Tenderness[/i] (1933), and [I]Midnight, The Stars And You.[/I]
