Miro

Real Name: Mads Arp & Steen Thøttrup

Techno, house and trance DJ and producer duo from Denmark. Miro was founded in Farum, Denmark in 1990 by Steen Thøttrup and Mads Arp. Their debut release was the double A-side "Energy" / "Mystery" on Coma Records in 1991.

Their first release for Hooj Choons, "[url=https://www.discogs.com/master/22756-Miro-Paradise]Paradise[/url]" (1998) was a minor hit on the UK Singles Chart at number 80. In 1999, they wrote a vocal version for Three Drives' "[url=https://www.discogs.com/release/3489-Three-Drives-Greece-2000]Greece 2000[/url]", which was sung by Jules Harrington. Their version peaked at number 12 in the UK. Miro's second release for Hooj Choons, "By Your Side" surfaced as a white-label in 1999 but it wasn't until 2002 it was given an official release on Lost Language.

Miro are also known for their numerous appearances on the chill-out albums series Café Del Mar. They first appeared in 1996 with the track "Emotions of Paradise", which has since been licensed to more than 20 chill-out/ambient albums.
