Richard Branson

Founder of Virgin Group and frequently ranked among the world's wealthiest people, born 18 July 1950 in Blackheath, London, England.
Began his career as a teenager selling records by mail order and would eventually open his first record store (Virgin Records) in Oxford Street, London in the early 1970s.
After making enough money he founded the record label in 1972 with Nik Powell and purchased .
Branson would go on to sell to [l=EMI] in 1992 for £500 million.
