MC Miker G

Dutch rapper from Hilversum, North-Holland, the Netherlands. MC Miker G got involved with hip-hop culture in the early eighties as a breakdancer and member of Jam Force and The City Kids. MC Miker G is short for Microphone Genius who started rapping in 1984. His first rap group was a duo with [a=Allstar Fresh] called The Invisible Two.

In 1986 he met [a=DJ Sven] and the two recorded 'Holiday Rap' as [a=MC Miker G. & DJ Sven], which became a big summer hit, charting in 34 countries. In 1987 he released his first solo album, which featured guest appearances by [a=Chubb Rock], [a=Dee Dee Scott], and production from [a=Howie Tee]. He made a few more appearances throughout the nineties, before succumbing to heavy drug addiction of heroine and crack. He disappeared from the scene only to appear on the track '5%' by Dutch rapper [a=Extince] in 2007.
