Born: Newcastle, UK. Ex leader of the glam Britpop group Heavy Stereo. Ex-rhythm guitarist for Oasis (2) from 1999-2009. Guitarist in the post-Oasis (2) group Beady Eye from 2009 to 2014
Has regularly collaborated with Paul Weller and occasionally David Holmes. He also went to school with Ed Chesters of The Bluetones
