Roland Leesker

German DJ and music industry executive, born in 1972 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He started DJing in the late 1980s and worked at Delirium Records in Frankfurt before opening their first international branch in New York in 1995. Leesker studied International Finance and Law in China, the UK, and Germany. In the late 1990s, he served as International Marketing Manager for Ministry Of Sound in Berlin. In 2005, he became Marketing Director at Virgin Music Germany. Around 2008, he joined Get Physical Music, where he has served as Managing Director and A&R for over 15 years. He also founded the label’s digital sub-label, Get Digital Music.
