Jesse Jendah made headlines in the summer of 1999 when he infamously offered a quarter pound of Westmoreland high-grade ganja to former Prime Minister PJ Patterson. At the time, cannabis was still criminalized in Jamaica. Despite the controversy, Jesse lived to see views and laws on cannabis change both in Jamaica and around the world.
