British rapper, producer, and spoken word artist.
Born: 17 August 1972 in London, England, UK.
Died: 7 May 2020 in London, England, UK (aged 47).
London born of Nigerian descent, Chijioke gaining notoriety on the London underground hip hop scene, and signed to label [l=Big Dada] in 2001.
His album "Upwards" (2003) earned a Mercury Music Prize nomination. While he later signed to label [l=Tru Thoughts] in January 2013.
He sadly died due to pneumonia, after intensive treatment for COVID-19, during the 2020-2021 coronavirus pandemic.
