American producer and recording engineer.
Nephew of the arranger and producer Don Costa.
Worked under Berry Gordy at Motown in Los Angeles from 1969 to 1987, variously as Head of Operations and Chief Engineer, and ran Motown Recording Studios.
Born: July 10, 1942 in Roslindale, Massachusetts
Died: February 11, 1997 in Westlake Village, California at the age of 54.
