Was an Italian politician, entrepreneur, media tycoon who served three times as Prime Minister of Italy, from 1994 to 1995, 2001 to 2006 and 2008 to 2011.
Berlusconi was the controlling shareholder of Mediaset and owner of the Italian football club A.C. Milan from 20 February 1986 to 13 April 2017. He was nicknamed Il Cavaliere (The Knight) for his Order of Merit for Labour, although he voluntarily resigned from this order in March 2013. In 2014, Forbes magazine ranked him as the 141st richest man in the world with a net worth of US$9.0 billion. In 2009 Forbes ranked him 12th in the List of The World's Most Powerful People due to his domination in Italian politics.
