Real Name: Al V. Reusch

Canadian musician (saxophone), songwriter, producer, and radio broadcaster (b. Feb 1, 1914 - d. Feb 14, 2000). Founder of Aragon Enterprises Limited, Aragon Records, Al Reusch Enterprises Ltd., 6th Avenue and owner of Aragon Recording Studios, Vancouver, B.C.

As a musician was active staring in the late 1930s as band leader and MC for Sandy DeSantis Orchestra in Vancouver. He then joined Ole Olsen's band in the same capacity. He enjoyed the MC aspect immensely and decided to try radio, starting in Kamloops, B.C. in 1942. He then worked in Edmonton, Alberta before returning to Vancouver radio in 1945. He opened Vancouver's first recording studio Aragon Recording Studios, Vancouver, B.C. in 1946 with three partners and founded Aragon Records in 1947. In 1954 he took over sole ownership of the studio and founded Aragon Enterprises Limited (which changed names to Al Reusch Enterprises Ltd. in 1971). After the studio moved to its new address in 1965 he founded the 6th Avenue label.
