Real Name: Philip Raymond Judd
Phil Judd, also known as Phil 'Bud' Judd on some releases, (born 20 March 1953 Hastings, New Zealand) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, and guitarist. He was a founding member of along with , and also founded . He left Split Enz in 1977 before returning briefly in 1978. Not long after, Judd experimented with New Zealand punk outfits Enemy and . Out of the remnants of The Suburban Reptiles he formed The Swingers. After The Swingers broke up in 1983 he went on to perform with various other ex-Enz players in Melbourne-based band . He moved on to concentrate on composing film soundtracks. He has also released solo albums.
