Hiroshi Kato

Originally a jazz guitarist, Hiroshi Kato was leader and guitarist of Group Sounds band The Lind & Linders (ザ・リンド & リンダース), 1965-1970.
There followed a period of experimental and avant-garde music around the time of Expo '70 in Osaka.
In 1972 he formed Godzilla & Yellow Gypsy -- an amalgam of Godzilla and his own conception 'Yellow Gypsy' (a loose association which sometimes consisted of Kato alone).
In 1973, he and Yellow Gypsy's associates played for Kouzaki Miyuki (神崎みゆき) on his 1st album (10427060) under the name of The Kato Hiroshi Group (加藤ヒロシとそのグループ).
In 1975 he moved to the UK to pursue his activities there.
