Dave Carey

British singer and songwriter. Born in Warrington on 7 July 1925, he died on 31 October 2015, aged 90. Carey sang with Lew Stone's band at the age of 16, and joined the Cyril Stapleton Orchestra in February 1951, replacing Bob Dale. In October 1953, Carey replaced Ronnie Milne in The Stargazers, and continued to perform solo.

Do NOT confuse with US vibraphonist David Carey or the British drummer Dave Carey (8)
