Aviv Geffen

Real Name: אביב גפן

Israeli singer, songwriter, producer, keyboardist and guitarist. Born May 10, 1973 in Ramat Gan, Israel.

In 1993 he released the controversial "Cloudy Now", rebelliously featuring the F-word, which was banned from Israeli radio and yet topped the charts. Two years later he publicly made peace with politician Yitzhak Rabin at a political rally after singing "Cry For You" and moments later Rabin was tragically assassinated. Geffen is the grandson of the late Israeli Defense Minister and Foreign Minister Moshe Dayan, son of Yonathan Geffen, and Shira Geffen is his sister.
