Irving Micahnik

American producer, songwriter, and label owner from Detroit, Michigan.

Micahnik established a business partnership with Harry Balk, and the pair set up Embee Productions/Embee Productions and Twirl Records in 1959. The pair also managed a publishing company Vicki Music, a talent agency Talent Artists, and licensed much of their work to labels such as Warwick and Bigtop. The pair notably produced Del Shannon's hit single 184363 as 'An Embee Production'.
